Goods are produced in factories, farms and in homes. First of all goods are supplied in the wholesale markets where goods are sold and bought in bulk. The people in between the producer and the final consumer are the traders. The wholesale trader first buys goods in large quantities. These will then be sold to other traders.

In these markets, buying and selling take place between traders. It is through these links of traders that goods reach faraway places. The trader, who finally sells this to the consumer, is the retailer. This can be understood through a flow chart given below:

Chain of market bought serve goods finally upto the consumer on retail. By the chain of markets the things are sold and bought and thus it maintains flow of money. It provides livelihood to various people as well their family.

Yes, all persons have equal rights to visit any shop in a marketplace. We can look at the items or products even if we do not have money in the pocket. Any shopkeeper cannot force us to buy any item. If anyone feels that the items are costlier in any shop, he/she can try another shop.

Example: Kavita and Sujata went to Anzal Mall. They looked at some dresses and then looked at the price tag. None of them was less that ₹2000 and it was almost five times the weekly market price. They decided to visit another shop which had good quality ready-made clothes at more reasonable prices.
